Last Thursday, Riverview hosted an all day fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Association: The Longest Day! From 8 am to 8 pm, we played games throughout the Riverview community every hour and on the hour. From bunco, to bingo, to scattergories and lawn games, our resident had tons of fun playing games.
What turned out to be the longest day, in fact felt like the BRIGHTEST day with all the fun we had, especially our residents! We celebrated the Longest Day® because we wanted to honor the caregivers at Riverview for their constant hard-work they give and show on a daily basis to our residents. Not only that, this day was to give support to the fund the cure to end Alzheimer’s!
