Riverview is proud to announce that RiverCare Home Health has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC)!
The ACHC now holds “deemed status” for RiverCare Home Health, meaning its accreditation surveys meet the requirements established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As a result, accreditation also includes a recommendation for CMS approval.
ACHC accreditation is a prestigious recognition that exceeds Medicare requirements and is valid for three years. This milestone marks the culmination of a two-year journey that included state licensing, completion of the state survey, obtaining a Certificate of Need, and submitting a Medicare application.
With this achievement, RiverCare is ready to provide skilled Home Health services to families throughout Spokane County. Earning ACHC accreditation demonstrates that our Home Health team’s policies, clinical care, and in-home services meet the highest standards of quality and safety. It is a proud moment for everyone who helped bring this vision to life.
RiverCare Administrator Chandra Dunker shared, “This has been a labor of love. This accreditation is a promise to our neighbors that we’ll deliver compassionate, quality care to Riverview and the Spokane community with integrity and heart.”
