New Upcoming Addition to Riverview – The Heights!
Exciting developments are underway at Riverview Retirement Community!
The Spokane Journal of Business featured Riverview Retirement in an article yesterday, highlighting our latest upcoming expansion — The Heights!
The Heights will be a new, four-story tall independent living facility, which will also house several new amenities available to all Riverview residents. There are expected to be 82 units inside once construction is completed, and the main floor will include a new restaurant, bistro, bar, and a large theater/auditorium!
Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Lisa Egger, is quoted in the article saying “The main floor will be just really big community spaces: a business office, meeting areas, lounges, different places for families and residents to get together and hang out.”
Construction of the new building is expected to start in spring of 2026, lasting about 2 years until completion. Danie Monaghan, Riverview President and CEO, is also quoted in the article: “We’re building in response to the fact that there’s current demand, but there’s also pretty significant expected demand in the Spokane area over the next decade…We’ve really tried to be incredibly mindful in what we’re placing in this building to make sure that it does support the greater campus.”
