Danie has been working in senior living for almost 20 years in Sales and Marketing Operations and Programming. She loves what she does and is thankful for who she is blessed to serve. Danie studied at Portland State University with a focus on Administration of Justice and Political Science. She is proud to say that she uses the skills she obtained from her education in her daily life. She is also a Certified Dementia Provider through the NCCDP. When she is not serving residents and employees, she is focused on raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Christi's financial career began over 12 years ago which includes work as an accounting intern, bookkeeper, business manager, bank manager, staff accountant, and prior to Riverview she was the Controller at Family Resource Home Care, LLC. Christi joined the Riverview team in 2020.
Cheng developed a passion for seniors and long-term care when he joined Riverview in 2009. He has over 12 years of experience in Assisted Living and has obtained his certification to become an Assisted Living administrator. Cheng is a proud husband of 13 years and father of four children. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and loves the outdoors.

Tara developed a passion for seniors after helping her mother recover from life-changing brain surgery 14 years ago. Caring for others has always been her mission, but it was after spending time in a rehabilitation center with her mom, that Tara decided to make the career change from Retail Management to Health Care. In 2015, Tara brought her award-winning customer service, training skills, and compassion to Riverview. She co-facilitates Customer Service Training and is certified to teach Mental Health and Dementia classes for all Riverview team members. Tara is also a Certified Dementia Provider through NCCDP. Tara has been married for 30 years, has 2 adult children, and recently became a grandmother. Tara feels truly blessed to be serving all who live and work in the Riverview Community.
April joined Riverview in 2016 and has a love and passion for serving others, with over 15 years of experience in rehabilitation and management. Her employees describe her as a true leader with compassion, profound empathy, and respect. Proud wife of 14 years and mother of 3 children. Active volunteer, adjunct instructor, and board member in her church, Spokane Falls Community College, and Eastern Washing University.

With over 28 years of experience in senior retirement, Heidi has been with Riverview since 2014. She brings to the team experience and certifications in customer service, memory care, census building and Sales. Heidi is married to the love of her life and is the proud mother of three children, two stepsons and one son-in-law. She also has three amazing grandchildren who she cannot get enough of.
Mike has a diverse background that includes crab fishing and law enforcement. His longest tenure is in construction for more than 20 years. His construction background includes maintenance and management of several health care and retirement living facilities.

Chef Tony is a self-taught culinary artist. He has had the opportunity to travel to Greystone and Napa Valley to help cultivate his art. His background includes being the Chef at the Dockside Restaurant in the Coeur d'Alene, ID resort and assisting in the opening of five Twig's restaurants which included the development of their menu.
Yvette is an ordained Lutheran pastor who has served congregations in California, Washington, New York, and Virginia. Her experience in parish ministry has been deeply enriched by the wisdom, humor, and faith of congregation members who were in the later years of their life, and she is excited to be serving as Chaplain for the Riverview community.
Sherri started out in the medical field as a CMA for 15 years prior to returning to school at Dickinson State University for Human Resources Management and Business Administration Management. With her passion for working with people she is a results-focused leader who delivers talent acquisition, retention and motivation. Sherri loves giving back to the community by volunteering on youth sports boards. When she is not at football or lacrosse you will find her outside spending time with family, pets, camping, ATV’s or on the water.
Rosalee served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML) from 1999 to May 2017 when PAML was sold to a national laboratory provider. During her time at PAML, the organization grew from a local laboratory provider with 40 employees to a regional reference laboratory with over 1600 employees. Recognizing that 80% of laboratory error occurs in pre and post analytical processes, she led innovation in these areas with a continuous focus on decreasing health care service failures, improving responsiveness to client resolution and improving patient safety.
She received her BS degree in Healthcare Financial Management from Whitworth University. She is currently a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and has been a long standing member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
In addition to being a Board Member at Riverview Retirement Community, Rosalee currently serves on the Board of the EWU College of Health Sciences and Public Health, the Washington Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Executive Committee for the Washington State Patient Safety Coalition. She has also personally been recognized in her career. In 2010, The Inland Business Catalyst magazine recognized her as one of Spokane’s Most Powerful People in Business and in 2014; she was awarded the Prime Spirit Award recognizing her work through the years with children advocacy groups and the homeless. In 2017, she was inducted into the Upsilon Phi Delta Society health care organization.
Rosalee is currently employed as a Professor at Eastern Washington University (EWU). She is a faculty member of the Health Services Administration department. Her students graduate with the degrees needed to secure jobs in Health Care Management. Several of her students choose the Long Term Care degree option and upon graduation, apply for their licenses to be Skilled Nursing Facility Administrators. She is a lifetime member of the local community and is blessed with a large family that includes eight grandchildren.

Gale began his working career as a land use planner in the public and private sector.He then changed direction, working at the college level, managing student business activities such as housing, food service, and physical education facilities. From there he moved on to development and management of commercial and industrial properties for the Washington State Trust Lands. He is currently retired.
Beth Bousley brings over 30 years of experience in marketing and communications, for major corporations including Baxter Healthcare, Novartis, AT&T, T-Mobile, Microsoft, and Expedia; and more recently for WSDOT and Spokane Transit. Beth and her husband Lance moved to Spokane in 2008 to be closer to their grandchildren. Beth is now "retired", spending time with grandkids, and working as a marketing consultant, freelance writer, and certified trainer in Suicide Prevention.
Roger joined the Riverview Board in 2021. He previously served on the Riverview Terrace Board in the early 2000s. Roger is a retired attorney. He specialized in representing health care providers, including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and long-term care providers. He started practicing law in Spokane in 1979 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law. His undergraduate degree is from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota where he graduated summa cum laude in 1972 with a degree in mathematics. He served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1976.
Roger began his career in private practice, and then served as in-house counsel to Providence Health & Services, the health care system that includes Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Providence Holy Family Hospital. Roger has served on a number of nonprofit boards, bar association organizations, and as an adjunct professor at Eastern Washington University. He is currently the chair of the Board of Lutheran Community Services Northwest and is a member of the Spokane Parks Foundation Board. He is the past president of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, which he and his wife, Kathy, attend. Roger and Kathy have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. He enjoys long walks through Spokane’s neighborhoods and parks, travel, biking, and making sawdust in his workshop.

Megan joined the Board in 2022 and brings with her almost 20 years of clinical laboratory pre and post analytical operations experience. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Eastern Washington University as well as her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. Additionally, she has substantial training in various process improvement methodologies including earning a Greenbelt Six Sigma certification from Providence Health and Services. Megan worked for Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML) as a Director of Pre and Post Analytical Operations, during which, she was a Spark Award winner being recognized for innovation. She is currently employed with Labcorp as a Divisional Director of Client Services.
Megan's greatest pride is her family and loves spending time with her husband and three children. She enjoys music, reading, and travel.
Alan Harbine has served on the Riverview Board since 2019. He is a long time financial advisor with Thrivent Financial serving clients throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Prior to that he was the Director of Youth and Family Ministries at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley, Ca and St Luke Lutheran Church in Spokane. He is a member of St Luke Lutheran Church and has served on numerous ELCA synodical and churchwide boards. He cares deeply about the mission of Riverview as his mother and father are current residents.
Alan is an avid snow skier and sailor and enjoys spending time with his wife Kellie, three children and two grandchildren. He is a 1981 graduate of Pacific Lutheran University.
Rich was raised on a farm in eastern Ohio and attended a small country school. He received his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Ohio State and has been involved in agribusiness since that time. Rich and his wife Carol have been married for over 30 years and moved to Spokane in 1990. They have one son and he graduated from PLU and is a Police Officer in Tacoma. Carol is a Pediatric Physical Therapist with Joya. Rich has over 40 years with Farm Credit in both the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. Rich and Carol are members at Audubon Park United Methodist Church and are involved in several aspects of the church. Rich is a golfer and an avid reader.
Dr. Sima Issen has served on the Riverview Board since 2020. She is a retired Internal Medicine physician She has practiced medicine in Spokane since 1987, working at Rockwood Clinic for over 20 years. Since retirement, she has been an active volunteer at the Providence Community Clinic, providing for the healthcare needs of our community’s most vulnerable population. Retirement has given her time to enjoy her other passions including playing piano, quilting, reading and spending time with her husband up on the beautiful Pend Oreille River.
Kathy joined the Riverview Retirement Community Board in 2022. She has been a nurse since 1982, earning her B.S. in Nursing from Saint Martin University, her M.S. in Nursing at Washington State University, and an advanced nurse practitioner certificate at Concordia University. She also achieved a PhD in 2012 from Capella University with a focus on cognitive learning and leadership in higher education. She has worked as a critical care nurse, acute and outpatient geriatrics and adult care as well as hospice care. She currently is a nurse practitioner at the Providence Community Clinic which serves the poor and vulnerable who suffer from addiction, mental disorders and homelessness. She has held academic positions with nursing programs around the NW region, and continues to be active in mentoring students, attending nurse practitioner programs and medical students from University of WA and Washington State University. She is a native of Spokane, but lived 28 years in Olympia WA relocating for her husband's career and raised her family there. She and her husband moved back to Spokane in 2016 for retirement. Kathy enjoys gardening, music, bicycling and swimming. She mostly enjoys being with her grandchildren.
David joined the Board in 2022 and comes with a background in forensic chemistry. He served as the Director of Toxicology at Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML) from 1986 to 2020. Dave developed both the clinical and forensic testing programs used throughout his tenure. He played a key role in toxicology project initiatives developing processes that improved quality and decreased costs. Currently, he focuses on opiate addiction treatment facilities giving administrative oversight to corporate development and laboratory testing. David is active as a forensic consultant and expert witness in accident and death investigations related to drugs and alcohol. He enjoys outdoor activities and frequently travels with his wife visiting 11 grandchildren and warmer climates.
Gail has an extensive background in clinical laboratory medicine, scientific investigation, healthcare regulations, and performance improvement. Having inherited the family business, she also has 15 years experience in residential property development in Spokane. Gail’s unique leadership skills include quality management, strategic planning and budgeting, risk management and process control and redesign.
