Frequently Asked Questions

Does Riverview have a Medicare contract?

Yes, we accept Medicare for those who qualify.

I am not ready to come into skilled nursing, but my spouse is. Can I room with him/her when I need the skilled nursing?

Yes. Under most circumstances spouses are able to room together. However it may take a short while to make this move possible.

My spouse and I are not ready for skilled nursing yet, but we will be soon. How do I get into skilled nursing? Is there a waiting list?

You can contact Riverview Rehabilitation & Advanced Care anytime to arrange a visit and tour. At that time, you can speak with our Admissions Representative about applying and how to put your name on our waiting list.

My spouse and I are both in an assisted living facility, but one of us needs skilled nursing care now. Is there a way for one of us to come into Riverview Rehabilitation & Advanced Care and the other move into the Riverview Terrace Assisted Living facility?

Yes. In fact this is quite common, although admission into Riverview Rehabilitation & Advanced Care and/or the Terrace Assisted Living is dependent on room availability. Please contact one of our Admissions Representatives for more information.

Are you on a bus route or do you offer transportation services?

Riverview is not on a city bus route, but we do have a Riverview van we use to provide transportation to local grocery stores, malls and scheduled community events. We also have two wheelchair accessible vans that our staff can help you schedule for transportation to medical appointments.
